Problems solved by technology

The UV shielding agent in the form of inorganic particles keeps the skin cool, protects against natural sun rays (ultraviolet rays), and is not absorbed by the skin, so it does not cause skin troubles, but it gives a thick feeling to the skin, and on the skin leave residue
On the other hand, UV shielding agents in the form of organic compounds include polysiloxane-15 (Dimethico-diethylbenzalmalonate, Parsol), benzophenone (Sodium Dihydroxy Dimethoxy Disulfobenzophen

[0038] and, although not in figure 1 , but the preparation method of the non-toxic ultraviolet shielding extract of the present invention may optionally include the step of passing the separated supernatant through a membrane filter (Membrane filter) to remove impurities. A membrane filter is a membrane having pores of nanometer size (approximately less than 100nm), and plays a role in removing impurities or pollutants contained in the filtered supernatant from the supernatant.

[0039] Step S4 of obtaining a solidified crude extract from the supernatant

[0040] The supernatant after filtration separation or membrane filter treatment is concentrated and dried to achieve solidification to obtain a crude extract.

[0041] Preferably, the concentration of the supernatant adopts a vacuum concentration method, and the drying of the supernatant adopts a freeze-drying method. In the case of the method of concentration under reduced pressure, the extraction solvent can be easily ...

Abstract

The present invention provides a method for preparing a UV screening nontoxic extract, comprising the following steps: (a) preparing one or more kinds of red algae selected from Porphyra tenera or Chondrus ocellatus; (b) adding a solvent mixture comprising a C1-C5 alcohol and water in a ratio of 1:9 to 9:1 by volume to the prepared red algae and maintaining the temperature to be 30-60 DEG C so as to extract an active ingredient; and (c) filtering the solvent mixture containing the active ingredient and the remaining red algae solid so as to separate the same into a supernatant and the remaining red algae solid. The method for preparing a UV screening nontoxic extract according to the present invention uses Porphyra tenera or Chondrus ocellatus as an extraction material, and thus the yield of the UV screening extract containing mycosporine-like amino acids (MAA) is relatively remarkably high compared with that of an extract from other green algae, brown algae and red algae. In addition, the UV screening extract extracted from Porphyra tenera or Chondrus ocellatus has very low phototoxiciy and cytotoxicity, and thus can be used as a main ingredient of a sunscreen which does not give a heavy feeling or the feeling of irritation due to the residue on the skin and is simultaneously free from side effects such as the skin stimulus or allergic reaction such as irritant dermatitis, contact dermatitis, photoallergic or phototoxic dermatitis and the like, and toxicity.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for preparing a non-toxic ultraviolet shielding extract from red algae and a non-toxic ultraviolet shielding agent using the extract, more specifically to a Mycosporine-like amino acid (Mycosporine-like amino acid) from red algae A method for preparing a non-toxic ultraviolet-shielding extract from laver or carrageen with a relatively high content of laver or carrageen and a non-toxic ultraviolet-shielding agent utilizing the ultraviolet-absorbing properties of the above-mentioned non-toxic ultraviolet-shielding extract. Background technique [0002] The sun's ultraviolet rays not only cause acute skin reactions represented by erythema, but also cause skin aging and skin cancer when exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays for a long time. The ultraviolet rays (Ultraviolet Ray, UV ray) contained in the sun's rays reaching the earth's surface are roughly divided into two regions according to the wavelength, and are...
