The method comprises the following steps: utilizing a ground three-dimensional scanner as a data acquisition platform, scanning and obtaining point cloud data of the tree branches, and dividing the point cloud data of the tree branches into different parts; stratifying the point cloud data in the height direction of the tree, extracting point cloud isolines of different heights of the tree by means of a convex hull algorithm, and constructing tree branch triangular mesh between adjacent isolines by means of a triangulation network growth algorithm; combining a triangulation network of different parts of a tree, and constructing an overall triangulation network model of the tree branches.
