Problems solved by technology

[0006] However, it has been found that the adhesion of FEP films to commonly used encapsulation layers for photovoltaic modules, such as those formed from ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), is significantly lower than the adhesion of ETFE films to such encapsulation layers, especially after aging

Abstract

The invention relates to a multilayer structure containing a perfluorinated polymer layer. Specifically, the invention discloses a laminated multilayer film and a solar cell module containing the laminated multilayer film. The laminated multilayer film contains the perfluorinated polymer film layer and an ethylene copolymer film layer, wherein (a) at least one surface of the perfluorinated film layer is modified by surface treatment, (b) the ethylene copolymer film layer contains or is mainly composed of at least one ethylene copolymer, boric acid with the amount of 10-10000 ppm by weight (relative to the weight of at least one ethylene copolymer) and at least one amino silane with the amount of about 50-20000 ppm by weight (relative to the weight of at least one ethylene copolymer), and (c) the ethylene copolymer film layer is directly bonded to at least one modified surface of the perfluorinated polymer film layer.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to laminated multilayer films comprising a perfluorinated polymer film layer bonded directly to an ethylene copolymer film layer. The disclosure further relates to a photovoltaic module comprising said laminated multilayer film. Background technique [0002] Photovoltaic (PV) modules, also known as solar modules, are used to generate electrical energy from sunlight, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional methods of generating electricity. Such modules are based on a variety of semiconductor cell systems that absorb light and convert it into electricity, and are generally divided into two types of modules based on the light-absorbing material used, namely bulk or wafer-based modules and thin-film-based modules. [0003] Typically, individual cells are electrically connected in arrays to form modules, and such arrays of modules can be connected together in a single installation to provide the requ...
