Abstract

The invention discloses a soft output parallel stack MIMO (multiple input multiple output) signal detection method, which comprises the following steps: S1, performing QR decomposition on a channel matrix of an MIMO system; S2, performing parallel expansion on nodes in different stacks by adopting a metric-first tree search method under the condition that nodes except leaf nodes on each layer correspond to one stack; working out the log-likelihood ratio of each bit by utilizing a double maximum posterior probability method according to maximum likelihood path metric assumption obtained in the step 2 and candidate likelihood path metric assumption. According to the soft output parallel stack MIMO signal detection method disclosed by the invention, an independent stack is distributed for each layer through tree search, and therefore, the calculated amount of ranking of the nodes in the stacks is reduced, and the storage space requirement is reduced. Meanwhile, the parallel expansion is performed on all the stacks, so that the hardware efficiency is increased, and the complexity of MIMO detection is reduced and the storage requirement is lowered while the signal detection performance is ensured.
