Abstract

Provided is a colored curable composition with which brightness is increased while obtaining high contrast and which is useful in colored pattern formation for a color filter. Also provided are a color filter and a display device. The colored curable composition comprises: one or more dye compounds selected from (A-1) a dipyrromethene metal complex compound wherein the structure represented by general formula (I) is coordinated to a metal or metal compound and (A-2) azapyrromethene metal complex compounds wherein the structure represented by general formula (II) is coordinated to a metal or metal compound; and (B) a porphyrin compound represented by general formula (III). R1-R6 and R21-R26 are hydrogen atoms or monovalent substitution groups. R7 is a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, alkyl group or the like. In general formula (III), Z1-Z4 are N or C-R, A1-A8 are hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups or the like, and at least one pair from the pairs A1 and A2, A3 and A4, A5 and A6, and A7 and A8 does not have a cyclic structure.
