Abstract

The invention discloses an insecticidal composition containing trifluoro-phenylpyridine and amides. The insecticidal composition comprises the effective components: an active component A and an active component B, wherein the active component A is trifluoro-phenylpyridine; the active component B is any one compound selected from chlorantraniliprole, flubendiamide, tolfenpyrad, sulfoxaflor, cyantraniliprole and flonicamid; and the weight ratio of the active component A to the active component B is 1:80 to 80:1. The composition disclosed by the invention has a synergistic effect on various pests capable of generating hazards to agricultural production, and is safe to people and livestock and good in environmental compatibility; and by using the insecticidal composition, the dosage of a pesticide is reduced, the residual quantity of the pesticide on crops is reduced, the environment pollution is relieved, and the resistance of pests to the pesticide is not easily generated.
