Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of family potted blueberries in south China, and relates to the technical fields of fruit tree cultivation and potted landscape preparation. According to the technical main points, the method comprises the following steps: (1) selecting blueberry varieties, including highbush blueberry and rabbiteye blueberry, which are suitable for growth in the south China; (2) planting 2-3 blueberries, optimally raw cutting seedlings or tissue culture seedlings of 2-3 years, in each pot, and matching with at least two varieties for facilitating pollination according to the principle of consistent flowering period; (3) selecting a clay pot or sand pot, of which the diameter of the upper edge opening is 25-50cm and the height is more than 25cm as a planting pot and which can ensure water permeability and air permeability, and sleeving the planting pot with a decorative pot made of other materials according to favor to beatify families and increase the ornamental effect; (4) using local materials as pot soil, namely utilizing plant wastes, such as crop straw, garden soil and humus retted by sulphur as the pot soil, wherein the pH value is about 5.0, the organic matter content is more than 5%, and thus growth of the blueberries is facilitated; and (5) adopting the training and pruning method, which is capable of creating the ornamental effect, and does not affect the growth result of the blueberries.
