Abstract

The polyethylene composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of polyethylene resin, 0.03 to 0.06 part of a polyphenol hindered phenolic antioxidant, 0.03 to 0.06 part of a phosphite antioxidant, 0.1 to 0.3 part of an ultraviolet absorbent, 1 to 5 parts of azodicarbonamide, 0.5 to 1.5 parts of zinc stearate, and 1 to 3 parts of conductive carbon black. According to the method for preparing the polyethylene composition, the length-diameter ratio of a selected screw is 30 to 35, a screw combination comprises 3 to 9 sections of cutouts, 1 to 5 sections of which are reverse cutouts, a twin-screw extruder is adopted for melting, plasticizing, extruding and pelletizing materials. A fuel tank product prepared from the polyethylene composition for the automobile fuel tank is uniform in wall thickness, high in strength, impact resistant, and excellent in drop performance, and can be applied in an outdoor severe environment for a long time, such as a cold winter, a hot summer, or a long-term bumping and vibrating environment.
