Provided is a hair styling agent composition which is capable of suppressing stickiness, and the occurrence of flaking when hair has been styled, and improving the initial hair styling performance, and hair styling maintaining performance. This hair styling agent composition includes: particles (component (A)) selected from the group consisting of silica, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, hydroxyapatite, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium silicate, magnesium silicate, aluminium silicate, and magnesium hydroxide; and pantothenyl alcohol (component (B)). This hair styling agent composition contains 0.1-10 mass% inclusive of component (A).
