The method includes the steps of: firstly making lonicera caerulea into a lonicera caeruleaslurry; then subjecting the lonicera caerulea slurry to first filtering, adding filter residue A into anhydrousethanol to perform extraction, then conducting second filtering and collecting a filtrate B; mixing filtrate A with anhydrousethanol to obtain a mixed solution, subjecting the mixed solution to heating and uniform mixing, then performing standing for 8-24h, and subjecting the mixed solution to third filtering and then collecting filtrate C; mixing the filtrate B with the filtrate C and conducting evaporation to dryness, collecting the evaporated mixture, dissolving the mixture to make a dye concentrated solution; adding the dye concentrated solution into water to perform dilution, then putting cotton fiber fabric into the dye solution, carrying out dyeing, soaping, washing and release from a jar.
