Abstract
A Chinese herbal medicine premix for preventing chicken coccocidiosis is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials (by weight): 1-3% of origanum oil, 0.5-3% of curcumin, 2-8% of garlicin, 0.5-5% of saccharicterpenin, 5-20% of sodium butyrate, 15-60% of betaine, 10-30% of VC ester and the rest of a carrier, namely defatted rice bran. The invention has the following advantages: 1, by adding 0.03-0.1% of the premix into a chicken premix, generation of coccocidiosis can be prevented effectively; 2, when chicken are infected with coccocidiosis, symptoms of coccocidiosis can be effectively relieved by adding 0.07-0.1% of the premix; and 3, the premix of the invention contains no chemical antibiotics and has a good effect of guaranteeing food safety of livestock and poultry.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to a premixed feed, in particular to a chicken premix, especially a premix which does not contain antibiotics. Background technique [0002] Coccidiosis is a parasitic disease that can cause severe losses in poultry meat and egg production. Parasite multiplication in the small intestine leads to tissue damage, reduced feed intake and absorption of nutrients from feed, dehydration and blood loss. Coccidiosis is a disease caused by the single-celled parasite Eimeria (Eimeria). The life cycle of Eimeria is about 4-7 days. Eimeria's life begins when the motile oocysts are eaten by the chicken. An "oocyst" is a capsule with a thick protective coating that protects the parasite. They are "spores" or non-infectious, but if the humidity, temperature, or oxygen is right, they will begin to grow. After chickens ingest oocysts, the coccidia implant in the intestinal tract, and after several doublings between the intestinal cells, the co...
