Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine composition with an antioxidant function and a preparation method thereof. The composition is prepared from the raw materials radix kadsurea coccineae, achyranthes bidentata, herba artemisiae anomalae, smilax riparia, radix cudramiae, cassia twig and fruit of largeflower gardenia. The results of animal pharmacodynamic experiments indicate that in an antioxidant function experiment, the traditional Chinese medicine composition can effectively improve the activity of GSH-Px in mice suffering hepatotoxicity caused by bromobenzene and reduce the content of lipid peroxidation end product MDA; and the effect of the embodiment group in clearing superoxide anions is obviously better than that of the control group (P<0.01).
