Problems solved by technology

However, glow discharge cannot quickly heat the gas in the cavity and eject high-speed airflow in a short period of time, which completely fails to meet the needs of plasma synthetic jets, and loses the advantages of this control method itself.
Therefore, conventional plasma synthetic jet exciters designed according to standard atmospheric pressure cannot work effectively at high altitude and low pressure, and the exciter must be redesigned according to the atmospheric conditions in the cruising state
[0004] On the other hand, in the traditional boundary layer jet control method, the outlet form of the jet also has a very significant impact on the gas path organization of the jet and the flow control effect
However, in the literature and materials published about this new type of flow control method using plasma, it usually adopts the form of a single circular hole or a single straight slit, which will make the control range of the jet very limited, only at the jet outlet. A small area nearby can achieve better control effect, so it is necessary to design a more efficient jet outlet form by referring to the traditional boundary layer jet control method

Abstract

The invention discloses a plasma synthetic jet actuator used for a high-altitude aircraft. The plasma synthetic jet actuator comprises an actuator body, a discharge cavity, a negative electrode discharge electrode, a positive electrode discharge electrode and a multi-slit type jet outlet. When the plasma synthetic jet actuator is in use, the discharge electrodes connected on the two sides of the actuator cavity body break down air to discharge; and the gas in the discharge cavity is heated transiently and flows out of the jet outlet in the upper surface of the actuator body to form high-speed jet. The plasma synthetic jet is specific to the high-altitude high-speed aircraft; based on the discharging characteristic that the breakdown voltage drops suddenly under a low air pressure, the electrode spacing of the plasma synthetic jet actuator is prolonged; in addition, spark discharge is also maintained between the electrodes, so that the flowing control range of the actuator is expanded; meanwhile, the jet outlet is formed by multiple straight slits parallel to the discharge electric arc, so that the gas in a wider range can be filled with momentum and energy; and furthermore, the plasma synthetic jet actuator is particularly suitable for flowing control of the high-altitude aircraft within a large range, and has high engineering application prospect.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of plasma flow control. Background technique [0002] In 2003, the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory proposed a plasma synthetic jet actuator as a new type of flow control technology. The exciter consists of an insulated cavity with a built-in cathode and anode and a small outflow hole on the upper surface of the cavity. The working principle of the plasma synthetic jet exciter is as follows: the anode and the cathode are respectively connected to the positive and negative electrodes of the high-voltage pulse power supply. When the power supply is running, the pressure and temperature of the air in the nearly airtight cavity rise rapidly due to the electrode discharge, and the high-pressure and high-temperature gas flows through the small outflow hole to form a jet. As an active flow control technology, this technology does not require an additional gas source. It has fast response, no mechanical m...
