Problems solved by technology

Similarly, mononuclear transition metal ions can react similarly with alkanes to form product ions that can reflect the molecular weight of alkanes. In addition, mononuclear transition metal ions have the advantage of being easy to prepare compared to ligand-protected transition metal ions, and can be used as a Potential reagent ions for chemically ionizing linear alkanes, but there are still a series of unresolved issues
For example, the early transition metal ion Mn + ( et al., Int.J.Mass Spectrom.2015, 378, pp. 206-211), although they can react with alkanes to generate product ions that adsorb alkanes, but usually, the reaction efficiency of forming adsorbed products is very low, which is not conducive to Alkanes with low chemical ionization concentration; such as early transition metal V + (Freiser et al., J.Am.Chem.Soc.1986, 108, pp. 1120-1126) react with alkanes, the product ions are not unique, and the alkanes are fragmented, unable to form a single product ion reflecting the parent molecular weight of the alkanes

Abstract

The invention provides a method used for chemical ionization of straight-chain alkanes. The method comprises following steps: 1, physical-chemical process is adopted for treatment of metal so as to obtain single-core metal ions; 2, the single-core metal ions obtained in step 1 are delivered into a reaction tube with a buffer gas; 3, the instant pressure of gaseous straight-chain alkanes to be detected is adjusted, the gaseous straight-chain alkanes are delivered into the reaction tube, and ionization products are obtained via reaction of the gaseous straight-chain alkanes with the single-core metal ions in the reaction rube; and 4, the ionization products are delivered into a detector for detection. According the method, chemical reaction of the single-core late transition metal ions of late transition metals with the gaseous straight-chain alkanes under certain pressure conditions is realized, so that product ions capable of reflecting straight-chain alkane original molecular weight are obtained, reaction efficiency is extremely high, and high efficiency chemical ionization of straight-chain alkanes can be realized without fragmentation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an analysis method of alkanes, in particular to a method for chemically ionizing linear alkanes. Background technique [0002] Due to alkanes (C n h 2n+2 ) is weak in polarity, has no functional groups, and the carbon chain is easily broken. The ionization of alkanes has always been facing great challenges. Common ionization sources, including electron impact ionization (EI), electrospray ionization (ESI), atmospheric pressure photoionization (APPI), etc., are not suitable for the ionization of alkanes, they either cannot ionize alkanes, or cause severe fragmentation of alkanes molecules crack. As a soft ionization method, chemical ionization can be used to react with alkanes by selecting reagent ions with appropriate activity to ensure that alkanes are not fragmented while ionizing alkanes, that is, to form product ions that can reflect the molecular weight of alkanes, which can be used for chemical ionization of alkanes. ...
