Abstract

The invention provides a device and method for simultaneous measurement of diameters and a mass concentration of particles in smoke dust. The device comprises a laser source, a first light intensity detector, a second light intensity detector and a computing center. The laser source is used for emitting one-wavelength laser to smoke dust so that scattered light is formed. A detection direction of the first light intensity detector and an exit direction of the one-wavelength laser form an included angle of 5-60 degrees. The first light intensity detector is used for acquiring first scattered light intensity. A detection direction of the second light intensity detector and an exit direction of the one-wavelength laser form an included angle theta of theta 1 to theta N. The second light intensity detector is used for acquiring second scattered light intensity I theta. The computing center is used for acquiring diameters and a mass concentration of particles in smoke dust according to the first scattered light intensity and second scattered light intensity I theta.
