Abstract

Manganese oxide, molybdenum oxide and the reducing agent are all crushed and ground till the mesh number is smaller than 50; then the substances are fully and evenly mixed; then the adhering agent is added in, and pelletizing or briquetting is performed after stirring and uniform mixing; and finally, drying is performed, and the manganese oxide and molybdenum oxide mixture pellet can be prepared. In the steelmaking or steel tapping process of a converter, an electric furnace or an AOD furnace, the pellet or briquette is added.
