Abstract

The invention provides an electron gun which comprises a cathode unit, an anode unit, a grid unit and a double-focusing coil unit. Hot electrons escape from the cathode unit after the cathode unit is heated. The grid unit is used for collecting the hot electrons and controlling the number of hot electrons which pass the anode unit. The anode unit is arranged under the cathode unit, and the center of the anode unit is provided with an anode center hole. The double-focusing coil unit is used for collecting the hot electrons which pass the anode unit and comprises a first level magnetic focusing coil and a second level magnetic focusing coil. The first level magnetic focusing coil collects the hot electrons which pass the anode unit for a first time, and small convergence angle electron beams are obtained. The second level magnetic focusing coil collects the small convergence angle electron beams for a second time, and electron beams with fine beam spot diameters are obtained. The invention also provides an electron beam selective melting device applied with the above electron gun.
