Relating to the technical field of biomass gasifier slag and flue gas treatment, the invention discloses a device and method for purification of flue gas with gasifier slag. The device comprises a slag filtration apparatus, a slag drying apparatus and a flue gas purification system. The flue gas purification system comprises a spray dust removal tower and a circulating water tank, the spray dust removal tower and the circulating water tank are connected through a circulating water pipe, the slag filtration apparatus has a filter water outlet communicated with the circulating water tank, the slag drying apparatus is provided with a flue gas inlet and a flue gas outlet, and the flue gas outlet is connected to the spray dust removal tower. After removing part of water from the slag in the slag filtration apparatus, the slag is dried through flue gas, the water generated by the slag is thrown into the spray dust removal tower to reduce the flue gas sulfur dioxide emission concentration, and at the same time a dust removal effect can be achieved through spray.
