Abstract

The invention relates to nylon waterborne dispersion and a preparation method thereof. The nylon waterborne dispersion is prepared by, by weight, 30-35 parts of powdered nylon 66, 0.02-0.08 part of di-tert-butyl peroxide, 1-3 parts of monoalkyl maleate, 1-3 parts of aliphatic lactone solvent, 75-85 parts of deionized water and 0.3-1.0 part of ammonia water. The preparation method includes: using the aliphatic lactone solvent to dissolve the powdered nylon 66 at 130-140 DEG C; using peroxide of 140-150 DEG C to perform free-radical substitution on hydrogen atoms, connected with amide nitrogen atoms, on nylon molecular chain segments, introducing the monoalkyl maleate which is incapable of self-polymerization, lowering film-forming temperature, and allowing the carboxyl of the monoalkyl maleate to be neutralized by the ammonia water to generate water stability. By the nylon waterborne dispersion which is promising in application prospect in fields such as cigarette package printing ink and plastic surface printing ink, the problem that waterborne resin in current waterborne ink is poor in wear resistance and heat resistance is solved.
