Abstract

The invention discloses application of a metconazole-containing sterilizing composition in preventing and controlling bakanae disease. Active ingredients are composed of a first active ingredient, metconazole and a second active ingredient, tebuconazole according to a weight ratio of 40:1-1:40, and a content sum of the first active ingredient and the second active ingredient is 1-60% of total weight of the composition. The composition can be prepared into agricultural-allowable suspended seed coatings, dry seed dressing agents, seed treatment microcapsule suspending agents, seed treatment suspending agents, wettable powder, water-dispersible granules, dispersible oil suspending agents and suspending agents. The composition has remarkable preventive effect on bakanae disease.
