Abstract

The invention discloses an additive capable of effectively restraining Zhundong coal slagging and fouling and an application method thereof. The additive is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 45 to 75 percent of kaolin, 10 to 25 percent of quartz sand, 10 to 20 percent of magnesite, and 0 to 10 percent of zeolite. The method for applying the additive to Zhundong coal combustion comprises the following specific steps: uniformly mixing the additive and Zhundong coal in advance; then performing combustion. The additive has the advantages of relatively simple components, adoption of readily-available natural minerals, low cost, simple preparation process, and no side effect on the running and environment of boiler equipment, and is safe and reliable.
