Problems solved by technology

But in actual production and life, but in the actual wireless power transmission system, there are often situations where the size of the transmitting end and the receiving end are different, and it is difficult to ensure that the two positions are symmetrical, such as powering small devices such as sensor probes
In this case, the transmission efficiency is often greatly reduced

Abstract

The invention, which relates to the magnetically-coupled resonant wireless power transmission technology, provides an asymmetric wireless power transmission system and a power transmission method thereof. The system comprises a high-frequency signal generator, a power amplifier, an impedance matching network, a transmitting coil and a receiving coil. The power amplifier is connected between a high-frequency signal generator and the impedance matching network; the transmitting coil is connected between the impedance matching network and a first relay coil that is coupled with the transmitting coil and is adjacent to the transmitting coil coaxially, wherein the transmitting coil and the first relay coil have the same size; a second relay coil is coupled to the first relay coil; the receiving coil is coupled to the second relay coil and the two coils are arranged coaxially; and the receiving coil is connected to a load. The four coils are formed by silver-plated nickel-stranded copper wires, so that the coil quality factors are improved. Because the two relay coils that have the same sizes as the transmitting coil and the receiving coil and are coaxial with and adjacent to the transmitting coil and the receiving coil are used, the coefficient of mutual induction between the coils is increased and the power transmission efficiency is improved. Besides, on the basis of the equal-size adjacent design, the occupied space of the system is saved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of magnetic coupling resonance wireless power transmission, and relates to a magnetic resonance wireless power transmission system and a power transmission method thereof, in particular to an asymmetric wireless power transmission system with a large size difference between a receiving coil and a transmitting coil and a horizontal offset and its Transmission method. Background technique [0002] In 1889, the famous electrical engineer Nikola Tesla first proposed and invented the Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) method, and his research laid a theoretical and practical foundation for the later development of wireless power transfer technology. Since then, wireless power transmission technology has received more and more attention and research. At the AIP Industrial Physics Forum in November 2006, Marin Soljacic, a physics professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and his research team first ...
