Abstract

It has a permanent magnet rotor (2); a wound stator (4) comprising stator laminations (38), insulating elements (5, 6) and stator windings (40); a motor housing ( 10); and the components carrying the rotor bearings, especially the pump head (11). The object of the present invention is to provide a reliable and economically producible fastening of the stator to the motor housing in such an electric motor, wherein thermal strain fractures are avoided and noise transmission can be reduced. This object is solved according to the invention by welding at least one of the insulating elements to the motor housing. In addition, the invention also relates to a pump motor, especially a centrifugal pump motor.
