Abstract

The invention relates to a reciprocating piston type diesel engine in-cylinder high-temperature water supply system. The system is used for supplying high-temperature water to the interior of a dieselengine main body and comprises a water tank, a heating water common rail communicating with the water tank, and a water sprayer communicating with the heating water common rail and the interior of the diesel engine main body. Normal temperature water in the water tank is changed into high-temperature water after being heated by the heating water common rail, and the high-temperature water is sprayed into the diesel engine main body. Compared with the prior art, by spraying the high-temperature water into a combustion chamber, the high-temperature water can absorb heat in the combustion chamber and does work by expansion, thus, the in-cylinder temperature is lowered, reduction of compression negative work and increase of expansion positive work are achieved, through the coupling action ofcompression negative work and expansion positive work, the working efficiency of a diesel engine is remarkably improved, the thermal efficiency of the diesel engine is improved by 8-20%, meanwhile, generation of nitrous oxides and particulate matter in the combustion process of the diesel engine is advantageously reduced through decrease of the in-cylinder temperature, and energy conservation andemission reduction of the diesel engine are promoted.
