A soil-gel method is adopted to combine a shape memory material and an aerogel structure to prepare the shape memory aerogel material. The preparation process is simple, and the cost is low. The prepared shape memory aerogel material has the advantages of high porosity (88-99%), high shaperecovery rate (90-100%), and adjustable deformation and recovery temperatures (glass-transition temperature: 40-120 DEG C).
