Abstract

The invention provides a halogen-free flame retardant EVA foamed material and a preparation method thereof. The halogen-free flame retardant EVA foamed material is composed of the following componentsby weight: 100 parts of EVA resin (a VA content of 10%-40%), 8-20 parts of a composite foaming agent, 0.6-2.4 parts of a cross-linking agent, 1.2-4.0 parts of a composite lubricant and 35-70 parts ofa composite halogen-free flame retardant. The composite foaming agent is composed of an AC foaming agent and an auxiliary foaming agent ZnO according to a weight ratio of 9:1-7:1. The cross-linking agent is bis(tert-butylperoxy)diisopropyl benzene (BIPB). The composite lubricant is composed of stearic acid and zinc stearate according to a weight ratio of 1:0.3-1:0.6. And the composite halogen-free flame retardant is a complex of nitrogen-phosphorus compounds. The halogen-free flame retardant EVA foamed material has low smoke density, no toxicity and light specific gravity.
