Problems solved by technology

[0003] In recent years, the research and development of cobalt recovery technology from cobalt-containing waste slag has attracted the attention of many manufacturers. At present, the more commonly used method is to use zinc powder replacement and extraction methods. Among them, the zinc powder replacement method consumes a lot of zinc powder and forms Cobalt slag contains a large amount of zinc powder, and the cobalt content in cobalt slag is less than 5.0%. The use value of cobalt slag is not high, and the treated liquid must be equipped with organic matter treatment process, so that the final zinc sulfate solution can enter the zinc wet system
The simple extraction method, due to the complex content of impurities, the extraction effect is not very obvious

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing cobalt sulphate from zinc smelting cobalt-containing waste residues. The method comprises the following steps of: preparing cobalt sulphate from zinc smelting cobalt-containing waste residues by a method of combining zinc powder replacement with extraction; adding quantitative zinc powder to remove copper-iron-cadmium impurities in leaching liquor; adding an organic reagent into obtained second-stage filtrate to extract to obtain extracting liquor and raffinate; adding ammonium carbonate into the raffinate to perform cobalt precipitation, whereinpercentage content of cobalt in the cobalt residues is 80%; and dissolving and acidifying three-stage cobalt residues obtained by filter-pressing with sulphuric acid to finally obtain a cobalt sulphate solution. The method is low in cost, is simple in process flow, and percentage content of cobalt in the cobalt residues is high, so that high-value comprehensive utilization for zinc smelting cobalt-containing waste residues is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of nonferrous metal smelting, and in particular relates to a method for preparing cobalt sulfate from zinc smelting cobalt-containing waste residue. Background technique [0002] Cobalt-containing waste slag from zinc smelting is a kind of zinc slag produced in the wet zinc production process. Its composition is relatively complex. In addition to a large amount of metal zinc, it also contains a small amount of cadmium, lead, and trace amounts of nickel, cobalt and other valuable metals. . Because it is difficult to deal with this kind of waste residue, most of the zinc wet process manufacturers pile up this kind of waste residue. [0003] In recent years, the research and development of cobalt recovery technology from cobalt-containing waste slag has attracted the attention of many manufacturers. At present, the more commonly used method is to use zinc powder replacement and extraction methods. Among them, ...
