Abstract

The invention relates to an eucalyptus oil production method which comprises the following steps: (1) starting a vacuum pump to suck raw materials containing cineole into a rectifying tower kettle invacuum; (2) starting an overhead condensing device; (3) turning on a general steam valve and a tower steam valve, turning on a heating power supply to heat the tower kettle, and adjusting the kettle to total reflux for total reflux operation; (4) adjusting the reflux ratio again, carrying out rectification to collect light components which are primarily alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, limonene, gamma-terpinene and p-cymene; and (5) heating the tower kettle, and adjusting the reflux ratio again to collect 1,8-eucalyptol to obtain the eucalyptus oil. By adopting a reduced pressure intermittent precise rectification method, low-boiling-point components and high-boiling-point components are removed by means of difference of volatility of the components, so that essence oil containing over 80% of 1,8-eucalyptol is obtained. For substances which are great in toxicity, the material leakage can be reduced by means of reduced pressure intermittent rectification, so that the environmental pollution is reduced.
