The bentonite-based treatment agent is prepared fromthe following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of the bentonite raw ore, 0.5-8 parts of the sodium agent, 0.1-10 parts of the organification reagent and 5-20 parts of the water through the specific preparation method. According to the bentonite-based treatment agent for the refuse landfill and the preparation method thereof, the bentonite raw ore is modified, the modified bentonite-based treatment agent has the capability to adsorb inorganic heavy metal and organic pollutants, thus poisonous and harmful substances in refuse are adsorbed, and soil and water body pollution is prevented;in addition, the treatment effect of the refuse treatment agent can be enriched by adding shell activated carbon; and the procedures of the preparation method are simple, and raw materials are easy toobtain.
