Abstract

The block polypropylene toughening and modifying compatibilizer is prepared by performing esterification on the following raw materials in percentage by weight in a solvent: 47.5-49.75% of carboxylic-anhydride-grafted polypropylene, 47.5-49.75% of carboxylic-anhydride-grafted toughening elastomer and 0.5-5% of glycol derivatives, wherein the glycol derivatives are polyethylene glycol or polyethylene glycol derivatives. The invention further discloses a preparation method and application of the block polypropylene toughening and modifying compatibilizer. The block polypropylene toughening and modifying compatibilizer disclosed by the invention is capable of enhancing compatibility between polypropylene resin and corresponding elastomer as well as improving performance of polypropylene toughening elastomer materials.
