Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field and provides a gypsum-based foamed lightweight thermal insulation material and a preparation method thereof. The gypsum-based foamed lightweight thermal insulation material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50-70 parts of gypsum, 20-30 parts of fly ash, 8-12 parts of lime, 0.12-0.14 part of aluminum powder, 17-20 parts of cement, 0.01-3 parts of an organic polymer and 0.05-3 parts of polymer fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the gypsum, the fly ash, the lime and the cement according tothe weight ratio to obtain a dry mixture; uniformly mixing the polymer fiber and the organic polymer according to the weight ratio, then adding 40-45 percent of the total amount of water and mixing with the dry mixture to form liquid slurry; uniformly mixing the aluminum powder with 60-55 percent of the total amount of water and then stirring with the liquid slurry, wherein the ratio of the waterto the slurry is 0.47-0.50; foaming, forming, maintaining and drying the slurry obtained in the step c to form a product.
