Abstract

The treatment method includes the steps: adjusting water content and pH (potential of hydrogen) of sludge; mixing the sludge and zero-valent iron to obtain mixture, continuing to add potassium hydrogen peroxymonosulfate to perform heat treatment of the sludge, performing magnetic separation of the zero-valent iron on the treated sludge to reach recycling of the activating agentand conditioning of the sludge, and dewatering the treated sludge. The reduction rate of specific resistance of the conditioned sludge is 91.1%, water content of filter cakes is reduced to 67.1%, andiron recycling rate reaches 98.3%. According to the method, the sludge is synergistically conditioned through combination of chemical activation and heat activation based on sulfate radical anion, dewatering performance of the sludge can be remarkably improved, the activating agent is recycled, and popularization of the technique has important environmental and ecological significance for national sludge treatment and disposal.
