Abstract

The invention discloses a synthesizing method of a polycarboxylic acid water reduction agent for a refractory material. The synthesizing method comprises the following steps of (1) enabling polyethylene glycol and methyl acrylate to react, so as to obtain a polyethylene glycol acrylate macromolecular monomer; (2) using acrylic acid, sodium allyl sulfonate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, maleic anhydride,acrylamide and the polyethylene glycol acrylate macromolecular monomer obtained in step (1) as raw materials, heating in a water solution, initializing by an initiator to polymerize, and reacting at constant temperature, so as to obtain the polycarboxylic acid water reduction agent for the refractory material. By adopting the type, the synthesizing method has the advantages that by determining thelength of the branch chain of the polycarboxylic acid water reduction agent, the dispersing property is greatly improved; the prepared polycarboxylic acid water reduction agent can be applied into the refractory material with high content of superfine powder, and can realize the important function in expanding of markets of amorphous refractory castables.
