Abstract

The invention discloses an improvement method of high-liquid limit soil for roadbed filling, the weight percentage of each component of a curing agent used by the method, as well as a range and methodof use thereof. The curing agent uses cement as a main curing material; the main function of gypsum and a UEA expansion agent is used for generating ettringite to provide an expansion source and fillthe pores; and high-valent cations are introduced to exchange with soft soil cations, so that a diffusion layer becomes thinner, and the soil strength and stability are increased. The improvement method is applicable to high-liquid limit soil with a liquid limit of 50-100%; and through a series of steps, a mixing amount ratio of the curing agent is determined, the uniform mixing of the curing agent and the high-liquid limit soil is ensured, and the compacted water content is controlled to be slightly higher than the optimum water content. The implementation of the method is capable of solvingthe problem that the compaction degree and strength of the high-liquid limit soil cannot meet the requirements of design specification; and soil can be locally taken for the soil sections with wide distribution of the high-liquid limit soil, thereby reducing the applicability of the sand and gravel materials, and bringing benefits to protect the environment and reduce the cost.
