The method comprises the following steps: testing preparation is made: an aluminum foil roll material is rotatably placed on a goods shelf, a reference roller is arranged on one side of the aluminum foil roll material, the axis of the aluminum foil roll material is kept parallel to the axis of the reference roller, and the distance between the reference roller and the aluminum foil roll material is adjusted for enabling a gap between the reference roller and the aluminum foil roll material to be in a measurable range of a feeler gauge; and testing is performed: the size of the gap between the reference roller and the aluminum foil roll material is observed, the proper feeler gauge is selected to carry out measurement in multiple positions of the gap to obtain measurement data of the corresponding positions, when a difference between the measurement data ofthe positions is less than or equal to 10 microns, the aluminum foil incoming material is judged to be qualified, and when the difference between the measurement data of the positions is larger than10 microns, the aluminum foil incoming material is judged to be unqualified.
