Abstract

The foamy copper / paraffin composite phase change materialcomprises polyurethane soft foamy copper and a phase change material filling the inside of the polyurethane soft foamy copper. One side of each copper plate is fixed on the largest side of each lithium battery body, and the other side of each copper plate is fixed among the foamy copper / paraffin compound phase change material. The system further includes radiating fins which are fixed on one sideof the copper plates. The beneficial effects are as follows: the system has a simple structure and low manufacturing lost; the copper plates increase the contact area with the surfaces of the batteries, make the temperature distribution on the surfaces of the batteries more uniform, separate the heat source from the phase change material module and overcome a series of safety problems caused by the leakage of the phase change material; and the system has a better heat dissipation function.
