Abstract

The present invention discloses a logarithmic periodic antenna based on artificial surface plasmon polaritons (Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons, SSPPs), which includes a dielectric substrate and an upper metal sheet: the upper layer metal patch is located on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate , including coplanar waveguide structures, SSPPs transmission lines, and antenna elements. The structure adopts coplanar waveguide feeding, transmits energy through the SSPPs waveguide, and uses the antenna oscillator of the logarithmic periodic antenna to radiate the energy to form a high-gain traveling wave antenna. Since SSPPs have a single-conductor structure, while the traditional log-periodic dipole antenna has a double-conductor structure, the two are combined so that the symmetrical oscillators of the log-periodic dipole antenna are all on the same plane to form a single-conductor structure. This new type of log-periodic antenna based on artificial surface plasmons has a simpler structure and reduces transmission loss, and has great potential in integrated single-conductor antennas.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an alignment period antenna based on an artificial surface plasma, which can be used in the field of microwave technology. Background technique [0002] The artificial surface plasma radio waveguide is considered to be an ideal choice for GHz to THz regional transmission line, which is widely concerned by the scientific community and engineering community in recent years. The most commonly used cyclical groove structure to guide artificial surface plasma strokes, and designed multiple passive devices such as multiple antennas, filters, couplers, etc. based on such waveguide structures. The development of the artificial surface plasma exclusion mainly depends on the radiation of SPP waves. Now the road is opened to the antenna based on artificial surface plasma-based, but most antennas are large, relatively complicated. Therefore, we consider other radiating units. For several cycle antennas as non-frequency antennas, the ele...
