Abstract

The invention discloses a process for preparing lead from waste lead battery paste through solid-phase electrolysis. The process comprises the following steps of 1) disassembling, 2) paste mixing, 3)paste coating, 4) electrolyzing, 5) lead taking and 6) recycling. The process has the advantages that a pre-desulfurization procedure is not needed, metal lead is directly obtained through one-step electrolysis, and the flow path is shortest; the method belongs to solid-phase electrolysis, and specifically the lead paste directly obtains electrons at a cathode and is reduced into metal lead, so that the method is different from ionic electrodeposition; an electrolyte is a mixed system of sodium hydroxide and sodium sulfate; and sulfate radicals in the lead paste enter the electrolyte in the form of the sodium sulfate, electrolytic waste liquid is subjected to open circuit in the form of sulfuric acid through adopting a bipolar membrane, and desulfurized liquid returns to be electrolyzed tobe used as the electrolyte.
