The invention relates to a waste fan blade pyrolysis afterburning system and method based on a coal-fired power plant. The system comprises a feeder, a crusher, a gas-liquid separation tower, a pyrolysis reactor, an oil storage tank, an air storage tank, a flue gas mixing temperature adjusting device, a burner and a waste bin. According to the system, flue gas at an outlet of a boiler reheater ofthe coal-fired power plant and at an inlet of a coal economizer are used as a starting and temperature-regulating heat source of the system, so that the temperature control over the pyrolysis reactoris realized, combustible gas generated by pyrolysis of a fan blade is directly used for heating the pyrolysis reactor, so that an energy-saving effect is achieved, redundant combustible gas is storedand used for afterburning of an inlet flue of a SCR reactor in a peak-shaving process of a coal-fired unit, so that the problem that a catalyst blocks a channel existing in the peak-shaving process can be avoided, oil substances generated by pyrolysis of the fan blade are stored, and used for being put into a furnace of a coal-fired boiler for combustion in the peak-shaving process of the coal-fired unit, combustion of the furnace of the boiler under low load conditions is stabilized, full utilization of pyrolysis products is fully utilized, and full recovery of energy is realized.
