Abstract

The invention discloses an allochroic gypsum board and a preparation method thereof. The allochroic gypsum board is prepared from gypsum powder and allochroic silica gel. Optionally, the raw materialsof the allochroic gypsum board can also comprise a foaming agent and a water reducing agent. The preparation method of the allochroic gypsum board provided by the invention comprises the following steps of: uniformly mixing the gypsum powder, silica gel powder and water reducing agent; testing the standard consistency expansion degree of the prepared mixture so as to determine the standard consistency water consumption of the mixture; stirring the mixture with water and the foaming agent according to the water consumption of the standard consistency to prepare slurry; and finally, molding theslurry, performing final setting, and then drying an obtained product to constant weight to obtain the allochroic gypsum board. The surface of the allochroic gypsum board is free of surface protection paper, the mechanical property and the fire resistance of the allochroic gypsum board are excellent, meanwhile, the color of the gypsum board can be changed according to the environment humidity; and the llochroic gypsum board has the functions of decorating and improving the comfort degree of a living environment.
