The invention discloses a system and a method for testing the performance of a blowdown ionization desalination membrane stack of a steam generator. An outlet sampling pipeline of a raw water tank isconnected with a cation exchange bed; a water inlet pump is arranged between the outlet of the cation exchange bed and the ionization desalination membrane stack; fresh water and concentrated water respectively flow from an outlet of the ionization desalination membrane stack; the fresh water at the outlet of the ionization desalination membrane stack flows back to the raw water tank through a return pipeline, and the concentrated water at the outlet of the ionization desalination membrane stack can be discharged according to test requirements or flows back to the raw water tank through the return pipeline; a dosing pump is arranged on the return pipeline; and a pressure relief valve is arranged on an inlet pipeline of the ionization desalination membrane stack to prevent overpressure of inflow water of the ionization desalination membrane. The testing system provided by the invention can provide a stable test medium according to the requirements of water quality, flow and temperature,and flexibly adjust the recovery rate of the ionization desalination membrane stack; and the water quality change trend of a loop and the balance state of the membrane stack can be accurately obtained without offline or online ion chromatographic measurement.
