Abstract

The invention discloses a feed additive for reducing piglet stress damage caused by mycotoxin. The feed additive comprises the following components in parts by weight: 50 parts of serine, 15-20 partsof herba pogostemonis, 15-20 parts of fenugreek powder and 10-20 parts of pine needle meal used as a carrier. The invention further provides an application of the feed additive. The feed additive is added into daily ration according to the amount accounting for 1wt% of the daily ration before feeding. The feed additive is composed of the serine and the plant-derived components, has dual effects ofnutrition and medicine, can effectively enhance the appetite of early weaned piglets, significantly reduces the diarrhea rate, protects the weaned piglets from suffering from the stress damage causedby the mycotoxin, and is beneficial to the healthy growth of the piglets. The feed additive does not contain any antibiotic component, and has the advantages of no toxicity, no drug residue, no drugresistance, no pollution and the like.
