Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, we found that in a four-stroke engine, the rotational force fluctuates greatly due to the execution of an explosive cycle during two crankshaft revolutions
Since the air displacement of a four-stroke engine is greater than that of a two-stroke engine of the same output, this increases the size and weight of the four-stroke engine
In addition, due to the increased number of cycles in a four-stroke engine compared to a two-stroke engine, the engine has increased friction, exhaust and cooling losses

Embodiment Construction

[0034] The following description is merely exemplary in nature and is not intended to limit the invention, application or use. It should be understood that throughout the drawings, corresponding reference numerals indicate like or corresponding parts and features.

[0035] refer to figure 1 and figure 2 , the engine suitable for the present invention has the following structure. The engine system is configured such that the crankshaft 1 is mounted on the crank sprocket 3, the camshaft 5 is mounted on the cam sprocket 7, and the timing belt or chain is placed on the crank sprocket 3 and the cam sprocket 7 in order so that the camshaft 5 rotates together with the rotation of the crankshaft 1.

[0036] The camshaft 5 is provided with a cam 9, and the cam 9 is configured to apply an actuation force to a valve system including an intake valve 13, an exhaust valve 15, and a valve spring according to rotation of the cam so that the valves can be opened and closed. In other words...

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a 2-cycle engine with a valve system that generates power during every one crankshaft rotation. The 2-cycle engine of the present disclosure includes the valve systemopening and closing an air intake valve and an exhaust valve and includes a turbocharger. In the turbocharger, the air intake valve and the exhaust valve are respectively opened and closed once during one crankshaft rotation, and the valve system is configured to control the turbocharger using difference between an air intake pressure and an exhaust pressure. Accordingly, a current air intake reaches a target air intake.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a two-stroke engine with a valve system and a method for controlling the engine. Background technique [0002] The statements in this section merely provide background information related to the present disclosure and may not constitute prior art. [0003] Generally, a four-stroke engine is an internal combustion engine that generates power by performing an intake-compression-expansion-exhaust cycle during two up-and-down movements of a piston. [0004] Four-stroke engines have the following advantages: stable combustion due to the complete separation of each cycle of the engine from each other, small heat load on any one of the parts due to cooling in the intake cycle, and a sufficiently long period of the intake cycle So volumetric efficiency is high. [0005] However, we found that in a four-stroke engine, since one explosion cycle is performed during two crankshaft revolutions, the rotational force fluctuates greatly. Si...
