Abstract

The invention discloses a mild bacteriophage VneM1 for regulating and controlling coral flora and application of the mild bacteriophage VneM1. The preservation number of the bacteriophage is Vibrio neocaledonicus bacteroiphage VneM1 is CGMCC NO.61215-B1. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the bacteriophage. According to the invention, the new bacteriophage-Vibrio neocaledonicus bacteriophage VneM1 is separated from a coral symbiotic bacterium Vibrio neocaledonicus SCSIO 43009. The bacteriophage VneM1 has a cracking effect on coral symbiotic vibrio, and regulates and controlsthe composition of coral symbiotic microorganisms. Hydranth infection experiments prove that the bacteriophage VneM1 can delay coral whitening caused by temperature rise. The bacteriophage VneM1 is amild bacteriophage, and under normal conditions, the bacteriophage VneM1 is integrated on an original lysozyme SCSIO 43009 genome and exists in a form of a prophage. The bacteriophage can be producedby spontaneous lysogen-lysis conversion, and the lysogen-lysis conversion can be promoted by environmental factors such as SOS stress reaction.
