The binder is prepared by the amidation reaction of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as a main chain and 1-pyrenemethylamine hydrochloride, the pyrene group introduced can form a pi-pi conjugated system with graphite in the silicon-carbon material, the interface compatibility of the binder and the silicon-carbon material can be effectively improved, the dispersibility and the adhesion of the silicon-carbon material can be enhanced, and the electrochemical performance of the silicon-carbon negative electrode of the lithium ion battery is significantly improved.

Self-regulating bioadhesives for wet substrates

Herein disclosed is a mucoadhesive including a bacterial cellulose, and a bioadhesive incorporated to the bacterial cellulose, wherein the bioadhesive comprises a polymer or a dendrimer, wherein the polymer and the dend rimer are grafted with a moiety which forms covalent interactions with a tissue surface in the presence of a stimulus. A method of forming the mucoadhesive is also disclosed. The method includes providing a bacterial cellulose, providing a bioadhesive comprising a polymer or a dendrimer, wherein the polymer and the dendrimer are grafted with a moiety which forms covalent interactions with a tissue surface in the presence of a stimulus, and incorporating the bioadhesive to the bacterial cellulose. In the preferred embodiment, the dendrimer grafted with the moiety is Poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer grafted with 4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)-3H-diazirin-3-yl] benzyl bromide (PAMAM-g-diazirine) and the stimulus is UV light.

COSMETIC ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS A cosmetic adhesive composition is proposed. The cosmetic adhesive composition includes water; approximately 10% to 20% by weight of one or more acrylic latex polymers having a glass transition temperature (Tg) below approximately -40 °C; one or more aqueous polyurethane dispersions; and one or more saccharide esters of at least one C2-C4 organic acid. The one or more acrylic latex polymers having a glass transition temperature below approximately -40 °C and the one or more aqueous polyurethane dispersions are present in a concentration-by-weight ratio that is in the range of approximately 1:3 to approximately 3:1.
