Abstract

The invention relates to application of hydroxymethylcoumarin in preparation of a salmonella type III secretion system (T3SS) inhibitor and a salmonella infection resisting drug. An in-vitro cell (human cervical cancer cell line, HeLa) infection protection experiment and a salmonella typhimurium infected mouse treatment experiment prove that the hydroxymethyl coumarin exerts salmonella infection by inhibiting the function of T3SS. Compared with the traditional antibiotics, the hydroxymethylcoumarin can play an anti-infection role by inhibiting the function of T3SS, so that the generation of bacterial drug resistance is not easy to induce.
