Embodiment

[0063] The implementation steps of the present invention include: step 1, equipment preheating and calibration; step 2, calculating the dielectric constant of the asphalt pavement; step 3, using a noise reduction algorithm to remove high-frequency vibration noise; step 4, calculating the density of the asphalt pavement; step 5, outputting Compaction curve for real-time compaction control.

[0064] An asphalt pavement construction site was selected for verification of compaction control based on ground penetrating radar. The test pavement is a 4cm asphalt horseshoe fat gravel pavement, the construction air temperature is 10 degrees Celsius, and the pulse radar used is a 2GHz air-coupled ground penetrating radar.

[0065] figure 1 In the installation diagram of the ground penetrating radar on the road roller shown, the air-coupled ground penetrating radar antenna is installed at a distance of 0.9m from the steel wheel and a ground clearance of 0.6m to prevent the signal from th...

Abstract

The invention discloses an asphalt pavement intelligent compaction system and method based on a ground penetrating radar. The method comprises the steps that a pavement roller loaded with the ground penetrating radar calculates the pavement dielectric constant and density of a compaction position in real time through a matched GPS positioner in the compaction process; high-frequency noise generated by vibration in the compaction process is effectively removed through a digital filter installed in a controller. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the influence of vibration noise generated by the vibration mode of the road roller and road roller wheel-road surface coupling in the compaction process on the road surface compactness predicted value based on the ground penetrating radar is effectively removed; and when the pavement density is detected to exceed the target range, an operator is guided in real time to perform pressure compensation or compaction stop work through a real-time data display carried by the road roller, so that the purpose of real-time compaction control of the asphalt pavement is realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an asphalt pavement intelligent compaction system and method based on ground penetrating radar, and belongs to the technical field of road engineering non-destructive testing. Background technique [0002] Asphalt pavement compaction will affect the service level of asphalt pavement. This indicator is usually characterized by the density of the asphalt pavement mixture. Over-compacting or under-compacting during asphalt pavement compaction can lead to potential road damage (rutting, oil flooding, pushing, water damage, etc.) after completion and opening to traffic. [0003] Ground Penetrating Radar as a non-destructive testing technology can provide real-time asphalt pavement compaction control. Ground penetrating radar calculates the dielectric constant of each layer of asphalt pavement by analyzing the waveform, amplitude and time changes of the high-frequency electromagnetic wave reflected signal from the road structure, a...
