The invention belongs to the technical field of organic porous materials, and discloses a
hydrogen bond organic framework material constructed by rigid symmetric tetracarboxylic acid molecules and application. The invention provides application of a
hydrogen bond organic framework material constructed by rigid symmetric tetracarboxylic acid molecules to adsorption of cationic dye molecules in an
aqueous solution. According to the invention, the
hydrogen-bond organic framework material is used for carrying out adsorption performance test on five common cationic dye molecules, namely
rhodamine B,
rhodamine 6G,
methyl violet, Junagreen and
malachite green. Due to the fact that the material has a large specific surface area, a proper pore channel structure and rich internal pi electrons, cationic dye molecules can be chemically adsorbed in the material through
electrostatic attraction. Experimental results show that the prepared
hydrogen bond organic framework material has a good
adsorption effect on the five cationic dye molecules, and the adsorption capacity and the adsorption rate of the
hydrogen bond organic framework material are in the leading position in reported materials.
