36 results about "SCART" patented technology

SCART (also known as Péritel or Péritélévision, especially in France, 21-pin EuroSCART in marketing by Sharp in Asia, Euroconector in Spain, EuroAV or EXT, or EIA Multiport in the United States, as an EIA interface) is a French-originated standard and associated 21-pin connector for connecting audio-visual (AV) equipment. The name SCART comes from Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorécepteurs et Téléviseurs, "Radio and Television Receiver Manufacturers' Association", the French organisation that created the connector in 1970. The related European standard EN 50049 has been then refined and published in 1978 by CENELEC, calling it peritelevision, but it is commonly called by the abbreviation péritel in French.

SCART interface control circuit and electronic equipment using same

The invention relates to electronic equipment using an SCART interface control circuit, which can control the video output format of an SCART interface. The electronic equipment comprises a processing chip, the SCART interface and a control circuit; the processing chip is used for sending at least two groups of voltage signals to the control circuit; the control circuit comprises a first switching circuit, a second switching circuit and a voltage dividing circuit, wherein, the first switching circuit and the second switching circuit are respectively connected with the processing chip so as to respectively receive the two groups of voltage signals sent by the processing chip and control the voltage dividing circuit to output different voltage controlling signals according to the two groups of voltage signals; the voltage dividing circuit includes a third resistor, a fourth resistor and a fifth resistor in serial connection; and the SCART interface is connected with the control circuit and is used for adjusting the video output format according to different control signals output by the control circuit. The electronic equipment controls the video output format of the SCART interface according to the voltage signals sent by the processing chip, is easy to operate and can omit the use of other control chips or devices.

The invention discloses a multipath SCART channel intelligent switching method, and the method comprises the following steps: detecting whether there is an SCART signal source inserted in one channel of a multipath SCART channel on a television or not; enabling the television to be automatically switched from a current signal source play state to an SCART signal source play state when there is the SCART signal source inserted in one channel of the multipath SCART channel; carrying out the priority comparison when the SCART signal source is detected to be inserted into a plurality of SCART channels at the same time, wherein the sequence of priorities is from the high to the low; enabling the television to be automatically switched to the SCART signal source play state, corresponding to the high-priority SCART channel, from a current signal source play state according to the comparison result, wherein the priorities of the plurality of SCART channels can be set freely. The invention also provides the television employing the method, and the method achieves the intelligent and automatic switching of the television to a corresponding SCART signal source play state, and brings convenience to a user for operation.
