[0049] Fig. 1 is a plan view of a dual-bearing reel according to a first embodiment of the present invention.

[0050]The double bearing reel shown in the figure is a lure throwing reel, which includes a reel body 1; a reel rotating handle 2 placed on the first side of the reel body 1; A wheel 3 is placed on a first side of the reel body 1 adjacent to the handle 2 for adjusting the drag. The handle 2 is a two-handle type, and has a plate such as an arm portion 2a, and handle portions 2b rotatably provided at both ends of the arm portion 2a. The outer edge surface of the arm portion 2a is smooth without joints, providing a structure to prevent tangling of the fishing line.

[0051] As shown in FIG. 2, the reel main body 1 includes a frame 5 made of magnesium alloy, and first and second side shells 6 and 7 also made of magnesium alloy. The first and second side shells 6 and 7 are installed on two sides of the frame 5 respectively. The front shell 10 made of magnesium alloy is...

[0090] In FIG. 8, the reel 12 is a magnesium alloy member obtained by injection molding according to a die casting molding process. The winding reel 12 has a dish-shaped flange portion 12a on both sides thereof, and a cylindrical wire winding cylinder portion 12b interposed between the two flange portions 12a. The wire winding drum 12 has an integrally formed hollow circular protrusion 12c located on the inner edge side and the axial center portion of the wire winding cylindrical portion 12b. An aluminum alloy sleeve is press-inserted on the inner edge side of the knob 12c. A bushing 20 is integrated in order to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the coil 12 made of magnesium. The winding spool 12 is secured relative to the winding spool 16 via a sleeve 20 by means of serrations, non-rotatably. The fixing method is not limited to the concave-convex zigzag connection, and adhesion, injection molding, etc. can be used.

Abstract

Various parts in an assembly of parts are made of differing metals having incompatible ionization characteristics. Any two parts which have incompatible ionization characteristics are separated from one another such that corrosion inducing contact therebetween is eliminated. Therefore, the possibility of electrolytical corrosion can be reduced. For example, in one embodiment a spool assembly in a spinning reel includes a magnesium-alloy first part (12) and a second part (20) formed of another metal coupled to the magnesium alloy part at a clearance (20b). The other metal and the magnesium-alloy have ionization characteristics that are not compatible, leading to possible electrolytic corrosion therebetween. However, an electronically insulating filling agent (20c) is injected into a clearance between the first (12) and second (20) parts.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an assembly, and more particularly to an assembly comprising a plurality of components composed of different materials having incompatible ionization properties. Such assemblies can be used in various mechanisms such as fishing rod reels and bicycle related mechanisms. Background technique [0002] The reels installed on the fishing rod for winding the fishing line can be divided into three types: spinning reels; double bearing reels; and single bearing reels. The fishing reel usually includes a reel main body disposed on the fishing rod, and a spool disposed on the reel main body for winding the fishing line. Double bearing reels, single bearing reels and spools are rotatable supported by the reel body. Also, in the spinning reel, the spool is provided to move back and forth along the axial direction of the spool, and is provided on the reel main body. The parts of the reel main body, the spools of the above-mention...
